Training

Regulating Together Providers

Regulating Together requires one trained therapist for the caregivers and one trained therapist plus a behavior assistant for the child/teen groups. Ideal therapists of the Regulating Together intervention are psychologists, social workers, or counselors who have experience working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers to address both emotions and behaviors. Ideal behavior assistants have experience supporting children in either therapeutic or classroom settings and might include graduate students completing education to become clinicians. Regulating Together therapists will need to feel comfortable doing the following:

All Regulating Together therapists must attend the 2-day Regulating Together Training (virtual or in-person) and read the Regulating Together Intervention manual prior to facilitating the intervention.
